Heater Problem?

Hey guys,

So JHB is freezing and i need to use the 635's heater a lot. Problem is that there's a squeaking/rattling sound from behind or under the dash when the heater fan gets switched on..

It doesn't matter what speed the fan is set on, its just extremely irritating..

So, any idea's on what it could be, and how to go about fixing it?

Does it sound like a mouse is playing soccer behind your dash?
I think i got a soccer team behind mind but its so fcukin cold, got no choice to listen to the goals being scored.

Got the same problem in my E12.. Plus smells like these mice haven't been washing their soccer boots :facepalm:

bit late to worry about heater in middle of winter, wear a thicker jersey.

If you remove the cover in the engine bay you will see the fan blades.
Maybe the motor needs to be removed and cleaned as I suspect that the noise you hear is from a dry bearing surface.
