Head Gasket Blown?

Good Day Everyone.

I have a 2003 BMW 318i e46.
Car has about 170 000km on the clock.
The car has been using quite a bit of oil and water over the last couple of months, with some white smoke from the exhaust at times when you accelerate.

Today i got the water low indicator again and i filled the car with water. After driving for about 20 mins, i noticed a blowing noise coming from the engine. I opened the bonnet and found that there is steam blowing from one of the ports next to the filling cap. And the water low light came up again.

Can someone please point me in the right direction of what the problem might be.

The ports next to the filling cap is all coolant pipes. They are fairly easy to DIY, share a photo of the part so we can confirm.

Also you can use realoem.com to confirm the part numbers.

But first share that image
