Happy 10th Birthday N54

Our Bavarian beast turned 10 years old this year.

I thought I would take some time to show some love.

The N54 was debuted at the 2006 Geneva motor show and later that year made its appearance in the E92 335i. The engine is still in production and is available in the Z4 35i/s.
The N54 has won five straight International Engine of the Year awards!
I thinks its safe to say there is an entire industry around performance modifications for the N54. What surprises me is that the innovation hasn't died down after a decade.
Owning an N54 has literally change my life. I have meet some amazing guys on and off this forum who share a similar passion. Had some major ups and downs. At the end off it all its been a pleasure and a joy to own!

Excellent.
I have never enjoyed a car so much. The N54 335i my absolutely joy after so many years.

It deserves the awards and praises despite some niggles very early on such as the hpfp and injector issues.

D mode – Daily UN-spirited drive
D + Sport – Daily UN-spirited with slighted added vooma
S Mode – Yea she Revs quicker – I’m smiling
S Mode + Sport – Quick Revs , exhaust tone is different and pops on changes ,Smile is ear to ear
M Mode + Sport – Gear shift – watch out I’m a touring Car
M mode + Paddles shift – Get the f@#k Out the way I’m Schumacher - I cant contain the excitement.
