Handbrake light turns yellow

Heya Gents / Girls

I drive a 2008 320i E90. Last night I went to the shop and noticed that when I disengage the handbrake the light stays on but is yellow and the vehicle on a lift is also showing, this after my vehicle was serviced about 500km back.

I'm gonna take her back to the dealership to sort it out, but I would just like to know what the problem is.

brake fluid or the DTC was off.
