Handbrake light on

Hi gents,

Yesterday my handbrake light came on along with the Inspection light. My car is due for a coolant service end of the month so going to do the brakes then aswell.

Is the red handbrake light the sensor that is tripped? I can only find posts related to the yellow handbrake light, no red.

My brake fluid was about 50% - i've topped this up just now, so will see whether it goes away.

Thanks, I suspect its the sensor that has triggered. Will see what happens once I do the pads/sensors.
