Came across this if anyone is interested. From the pics it seems decent and price seems to be good, as these are now becoming difficult to find. Mileage is a bit high, but not usually a problem for these motors if services are up to scratch.

Mileage is a bit high, but I wouldn't say its too much of a problem, as long as everything is still fine and it was serviced regularly.
From the pics it looks to be in pretty good condition.

millage looks ok for that age car...I would take it for face value have her checked out by AA, use your common sense and check it out for repairs (body) and ask for reports if he has any. but that's a tough motor. Check when the clutch was last done if any it will give you a good indication.

If I'd had the money, I would have made the seller an offer well below the advertised price.
I'm sure he is trying to get the highest offer, but seeing that the millage is so high, he won't get the advertised price. :mmm:

Making an offer, one has nothing to loose :dunno:

Nice car, but got to agree with Hamerspyker re the asking price. I've had my very clean 2003 330d with 140,000kms on offer at R110,000 for some time and its still not sold.

There you go again, reminding me of that temptation. But on a more serious note, I'd take the 330d over the 330i, but then, I am addicted to boost. Or get a 330i and some x35 snails...

At P1000: LOL: agree with you on the 330d. Although my 330 is now with a dealer on offer at R119,000 (see AutoMart website), my offer to you still stands if you change your mind

Agree on the price, but generally an E46 with a Sports Package (or Individual) is easier/quicker to sell.

Yup the sportpack does add quite a bit of appeal to potential buyers, also most people will be hesitant to buy a second hand FI car.
