GRRRR - bonnet badge stolen at CT Airport

Yesterday wife took the to work car was parked for the day at the 1st block multi story parking, im sure the badge was there this morning, get home tonight and notice the bonnet badge been stolen.

Seriously pissed off, no cameras in the parking area only at the boom gates.

Week has not gotten off to a good start

@busoza2011, yeah on e90 - other peoples property doesn't matter anymore.

Monday night they broke into my backyard also, this week is really not going well.

Wife viewed the footage today, car goes in but comes out badgeless.

Sorry to hear! It's gotten very bad - I am always in a border line flat-panic when my car is parked anywhere in public and therefore out of my control! If it's not theft like this, it's dings, scratches and other risks. And these parking areas that one pays through one's teeth to use are not too interested in making sure that your car is really safe and protected - this shows by how ineffective their CCVT cameras are in general. Then there is the chance that the security staff are corrupt and in on vehicles being stolen - there was a story a year or so ago at Cape Gate shopping mall where this couple came out to find their double cab bakkie was missing. They found a security guard as soon as they could to see if they could get to the control room and find anything on their surveillance footage. After awhile they realised that this security guard was taking them around in circles instead of taking them to the control room - so was apparently in on this theft ensuring that they had enough time to get far enough away! :nonono:

Its youngsters, they dare to collect. They have been caught at Canal walk before active on the upper deck. You get those motion sensor cameras quite cheap these days, place one on the dashboard, then post the theft on the net for the whole world to see.

Just some Advice I also work at CPT Airport. There are only Camaras at the lift doors and booms. I advise park on level 4 or 3 its much quiter and security also tend to you know sleep there because its quiet. If I no If we gonna catch a bliK..m we gonna:flyfun: sort him out.

mine got stolen twice! and the second 1 i put got stolen the same day i put it!!!
Buy them from ebay, its almost the same. BMW wanted R500 each

i think they stealing it and putting it on the other German cars.
I remember when the Mercedes benz badge was a craze and all u saw was badges missing.........and kids having these around there necks.......
