Ahoy fellow forumites.
I am a fan(atic) of BMWs despite, sadly, not having owned one myself. As a result I don't really know what it's like to live with one, only to play with one. Sort of like a friend's puppy. Most personal experience is from an ex's 120d (magnificent).
I know the internet is a strange place but I'll go ahead and say I'm based in Stellenbosch and find myself on the campus regularly. I decided to announce my existence here after having seen quite a few Fanatics stickers on BMWs around here (most recently a white E39 535i (or maybe 530i), there's also an E36 - charcoal colour).
I'm looking to learn as much as possible about these machines, perhaps meet up with some peeps from here in person and I'm also in the market for a car and from what I've heard, car forumites tend to look after their machines a bit better than some of the yahoos om Gumtree.
