Greetings - looking for hen's teeth

Hi all!

I got a 98 E36 convertible 328i M sportspack, avis blue, with 155k km on the clock. I love this car, but its got one item I want to upgrade: I need a limited slip diff!

The 328 has a 188 diff? I need a LSD 188 carrier? I am happy with my gear ratio - so a carrier with 4x clutch plates is what I need?

Can anybody point me in the right direction here please?

Speak to the Rennzport guys, they can get you an LSD from M factory which is a bolt in fit. The other options are fitting the lsd from and E30 diff but requires modification or a 2door E36 M3 diff but you would have to swap the ratios to keep yours or a 3.2 diff bit then you need the complete rear subframe to go with it. Personally of budget allows go with the M factory option

can the ring gear and pinion be swapped over to maintain the current ratios ?
