Hello fellow BMW owners, admirers, lovers, haters (hehe), enthusiast and lost but not least fanatics.

I registered on this forum almost 2 months ago on recommendation from "speeddemon" as i was interested in purchasing myself a 330i.

He advised this is the best place he recommends for advise especially from local guys and i have to admit he was not wrong. Well done to all involved in making this such an awesome and informative forum/website i have definitely learned a lot here even though i wasn't here that long.

Anyways enough of that hehe long story short, I settled for a BMW and all i can say is it definitely lives up to its slogan of "sheer driving pleasure".

I just love my car, have it just over a 1 month if my memory serves me correct. Had a few snags to sort out but nothing major just to bring her up to scratch, I still have lots of plans for her though but baby steps at a time, money is scarce these days hehe.

Just for the record i "upgraded" hehe, others might consider it a downgrade hehe from a Honda 180i (vtec shape) to my current love which is a 2002 F/L E46 330i which i purchased from a dealer that i will never use again :(. Anyways she has full service history with BMW and when i bought her she only had 135 000 on the clock, must say for an old car she was cared which im very happy of.

I think some of you might know the car, who knows.

Shoo im tired now, said/typed to much especially for a friday hehe.

Anyways see you all around and i will post up pics very shortly.

Ps. Again an awesome awesome forum you guys have and i look forward to lots of learning and getting to know the BMWFanatics community a lot better.

Cheers,
Acid

HI, and welcome, and nothing wrong with the Hondas. I owned a 1997 vtec, and traded it in on a 320d E46 a long time ago, and now own a 325i, but my wife owns a 1998 180i, and I love driving it. :thumb:

Welcome man! The Honda 180i is definitely a great car too. I had one some years back in dark grey.

However, the move to a rear wheel drive 6 cylinder is a big difference! Especially on longer journeys!

Great car you chose and welcome!

thanks man! funny enough i actually didnt look that long and hard for it but the deal took long to complete though but alas i have her now

saw her on gumtree went to view test drove sent someone else to view then purchased her

although i was caught with a few snags which i picked up only after driving and getting to know the car more, which was not cool but then again it is a 10 year old car and i cant expect it to be perfect but such is life we learn from our experiences
