I’d like to briefly introduce myself here on the forum.
My name is Luboš, I’m writing from the Czech Republic, and I drive a BMW F10 535i xDrive (2011, N55 engine).
I have a strong background in electronics repair, diagnostics, and reverse engineering, and I enjoy diving deep into how BMW systems work – both software and hardware. From diagnostics with ISTA and ProTool, to probing failed components with a multimeter or oscilloscope, I like solving problems that others give up on.
Currently, I’m working on diagnosing a failed audio module (suspected Harman Kardon amplifier or logic board) with some interesting digital behavior – I’ll share the full details in a separate technical thread shortly.
I’m happy to join this knowledgeable community and hope to contribute where I can. And if anyone ever needs assistance with circuit-level issues or BMW coding, I’ll be glad to help.
