Greeting BMW People??

Maybe we should do a shortened sticker with just "BF" and you can stick it on the front bumper somewhere?

Coming from a Seat I also don't intend flashing everyone in a BMW :p Even with Seats it was only the FR/Cupra drivers that really flash back or anything, the rest just got a good deal on a Polo/Golf in a spanish body :p

Hehe, probably only if it's a CSL and they have one too :p

Thinking maybe just a big "F" will do. (The BMW part is obvious :p)

Why don't we all (on the forum) get some GT Stripes over our car's? I heard it does make the car faster as well so it's a 2 in 1 :biglol:

I would usually flash my lights to those who seem like enthusiasts. There are a few tell-tale signs - maybe CF splitters, black grille, different rims etc. There are A LOT of people who drive BMWs for the badge and not for the car, they will give the WTF reaction.

There are lots of stock BMW's that have not external mods driven by fanatics. The easiest way is to get BMWFanatics.co.za stickers on the rear window.

:fencelook: I drive a BMW for many reasons, but I will not flash another guy just cos he has a BMW, not even if his car looks exactly like mine...

Lol thanks. But honestly, to me it's just a bit common to try greet someone because they have the same make of car. There are millions of BMW's on our roads, and all other makes of cars for that matter. Even if I had an ST, I wouldn't flash you if you flashed me back. I'd think something was wrong, or speed traps ahead.

Stickers aren't the easiest things to spot when moving. Especially when the person is coming from the opposite direction. If you saw abmi's 550i, msm's. 330d, twinz' 335i etc - chances are they are enthusiasts because of their visual modifications. Usually chances are that someone with a completely stock BMW isn't one so I'd rather save myself the embarrassment of being flipped off by a non-enthusiast :fencelook:

Yea well I think I started wrong.

The Focus 1.6 and 2L is like most of the bmw's we have like the 320d, 325, 330 and even the 335i (there's a lot of them and I think that might be my next one)

but the Focus ST = M3.

The M3 should pull the Focus ST (but there's a few ST's that does run a bit in front of a M3 but yea... mods mods mods) but the attitude.

Not sure coz don't have a M3 and that's just a lot of cash for a car.
