Is it the type of event? Date? Or is an event every month too much for you guys?
Remember the event teams work very hard to get these events running, for your benefit. Not attending is a slap in the face...
GP Events Team, you guys have done really well so far. I'd say make a decision by the end of the week and cancel this if no further interest.

Can anyone confirm the cost of the extra paintballs to purchase after the initial supply of 200 is finished?
The thing is, 200 paintballs is nothing. I can fly through that amount in like 15 to 20 minutes. So how much will this actually cost at the end of the day, plus food and drinks etc, on top of the partaking fee? R700? R800?
I think 3 years ago this event would have been welcomed with open arms and a lot of excitement. Now, with the economy going the way it has, price increases left, right and centre, lack of increases at work, people can barely afford to stay home and watch TV even.
It's not the fault of the organisers. It's just that most people are now struggling more than ever to get through the month. A Cars&Coffee costs almost nothing so it's a much more viable event for most.

Paint balls:
100 for R60
200 for R100
500 for R220
Also paintball city offers a special ONLY IF, we book and pay 1 week in advance.
I would like to mention, that organising a cars and coffee for every month can be organised if that's what members want. However, it was mentioned that last year by members that chilling and parking off in a parking lot is boring, hence we changing it up a bit.
We draw our ideas from feedback on posts from last year as well we trying to spruce up events for our members of BMWFanatics and TheFanatics as a whole. We have to relook our strategy and plan events differently.
I appeal to all members to use the feedback thread and throw out what they feel they would like in terms of events.

Paintball in general is dying in the industry, the cost of markers and upkeep plus the ever increasing cost of paint is forcing people over to airsoft where 6mm bb pellets can be kept for ages without going bad and are cheap to buy.
Airsoft gear looks way more authentic compared to paintball gear and a large portion of the guys that were big into paintball have switched over to airsoft in recent years due to the variety of stuff that is now available.
I buy my paint from the paintball shop at Paintball City and for a box of premium quality paint which is 4 bags/500 per bag=2000 paintballs cost R550 so if you going as a group its better to club together and buy a box from the shop and share it around as the field allows it. The rental place sells a cheap quality paintball bag of 500 for R220, if they sell you 4 bags thats R880.
