i friend of mine has two e36's-
a rough one- that has a turbo setup and is more of a basher than anything else-
then he has a German Spec with 42000km on the clock- legit.
it is so mint- its in his garage on trusses- maybe drives it once every 2 months- just to charge the battery-
his theory is you can't keep it clean if you drive it- thats why he got another one.
his had offers of R250k + but he wont budge.
don't know what his plans are with it- but it is a real Gem.
he'll be able to get R300k+ in a view years to someone who wants a real collector

42000km on the clock , thats insane !!!!
Is he the 1st owner of the car?
No doubt, you cant leave a car like that in the garage?? atleast drive it more often..
Have you personally seen the car? Colour? He intend keeping the car forever?
Im sure theres lotsa eyes out for it.

its Dakar yellow- 100% standard- i have seen it- it honestly looks brand new- the last time i saw it it had just been given a fresh wash and polish due to it being under a car cover for too long-
he is the second owner- bought it when it had 35000km on the clock. but that was a good few years ago.
i have a pic and was going to post it- but i think if he finds out i'll be in k@k.
he hardly ever takes it out- but his friends that know about it always offer him cash for it-
its a common joke to hear where on the list you are to buy it-
like i said i have no idea what his intentions are with it.
i'll ask him if i can post pics and some more info? .
