Hi there Guys.

I recently inspected coolant dropping in the expansion bottle of my BMW 320i E90 and after a drive opened up the bonnet to check.

Discovered a hairline crack where coolant is seeping through at the top hose on the tank of the radiator but not by much.

So I called Silverton Radiators Milnerton in Cape Town and they quoted me supply and fit a new radiator and new antifreeze for R2475.

Seems to be an OK deal to me or am i wrong ?

Seems OK to me. I spent about R1700 just for the radiator on my ST

Have you tried the local spare shops for a new rad ? midas, suburban, Goldwagen etc ? my friend bought a replacement radiator for his N46 ti, which has the same engine as yours a little while ago for little over R2000, and from the same OEM brand. The fitment is straight forward with little more than basic tools and coolant. Phone around and you might save yourself some $$$. I'm in CT too btw.
