Good BMW mechanic in Centurion area

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone might be able to recommend a good independent mechanic in or around the Centurion area?

My car is currently at the dealers and the quote is a bit high - thinking of going private.

Car is an E90 320!.

Hi,

Apologies for the delay mate.

My car suddenly started losing lots of oil. Red oil light came on and a few minutes later the engine cut out on the highway.

Had it towed to dealership. Quote came back and it was into 5 figures to change bits and pieces.Told me they had to do that bit first and only then they can determine if there is engine damage, and then it will be $$$ more. Said it was due to timing chain tensioner.

I've one of those AMP mechanical failure gurantees. Called em up, they sent someone over to dealer to assess. Said it was fine but that they can only cover one claim per incident.

Called up Sakkie, he thought that there were some strange things on the quotation and that it didnt make sense.

Called up AMP and asked if they would accept quote from Sakkie, they said yes.

So had car towed to Sakkie's place.

And that's all so far - I will let you all know what the outcome is
