Going the Turbo route - My new wheels - 2010 E93 335i

Hi All

Just wanted to introduce to you my car.

2010 335i E93 Manual ( Motorplan till June 2016 - can be extended)
Extras : Nav
HK sound
Extended Light pack
Folding mirrors + anti dazzle
Heated seats
Electronic seats
Etc...

I bought the car after seeing it on autotrader and went to cape town on Wednesday and picked her up and drove her to Durban the following day.
I was accompanied by my friends so we split the drive and stayed over in east london on Thursday night and got home yesterday .

She drives really well, smooth and strong motor. No vibrations that alarm me. The roof mechanism works well. In any case the motorplan is still active so I'm not stressed about things going wrong. I'm only disappointed with the way the steering ends up getting very very light.

I'll be looking at motorplan safe mods for now... especially for the exhaust note and the light steering ... so please if anyone has any info , feel free to let me know !

Welcome, nice ride, nice colour too. I find the steering pretty good in my e92 coupe. Heavier than it was on my e46. I found it a bit tough with slow speeds but perfect when cruzing. N55 or n54? If n54 good luck not modding .......

Is the steering lighter when the top is down?

The steering wheel gets light at high speed - over 140...
I think its because I dont have the 'adaptive steering' extra ?

I think it might be because you HAVE active steering? Is it normal or sport suspension? Tyre pressure really high? Maybe also try wider tyres in front. I'm on 235 front and 265 back
Also check alignment?
