If looks have anything to do with it then coupe over hatch. The 130i is an ugly bitch. I don't see why the 125i won't have enough enough power for a woman driver.

The woman driver has a boyfriend.....capiche? :roflol:

Ah so it's the old classic tale of her money, his choice!

130i.

Yes I know its ugly, but women like to transport sh!t, and the fold down seats coupled with the hatch like body comes in handy here.

Another thing is that a properly spec'd 125i is still very expensive and very close in price to a 135i
Then what is wrong with a touring? The only thing you can fit in the back of a 1 series is two umpalumpas.

Jeremy tested you cant even fit a nuke in the tiny boot.

The 120d will feel faster than the 125i. If she's not the type that love running it out, I would say rather get the 120d.
The very least she should do is test drive both if she strongly prefers the coupe over the hatch.

Or, save up and get the best of both worlds in the form of a 135i.

Has your girlfriend driven a 130i? That is the first question.

My wife has a love hate relationship with my car. It's heavy gear change, heavy steering, heavy clutch and hard ride, but the Instant power and response is addictive. And it sounds great too.

As far as I know the facelift models had electric power steering so that may help a bit.

The hatch is very practical too, can load a fair share of stuff in the back.

Looks wise, maybe not to everyone's taste, but he'll have you seen some of the super models lately? Not exactly drool worthy lol

My wife loved my 130i and could absolutely drive the socks off, although honestly I think the coupe is a bit more pleasing on the eye.

Ok, sweat on power steering? Does it have electronic steering? From 2008 they came with electronic steering, feels different to the normal steering.
Is there any warning lights on obc for the steering?generally the steering on the 130i msport is a tad heavier than the non msport.

Jip mine also sweats on the power steering reservoir, apparently a common problem.

I doubt there's any software on the steering, lol.

You can always get the vin number and take it to BMW and they can do a print out of the service history of the car
