Gearbox oil

I have a E90 320d and would like to know what gearbox oil it takes.
The box is a GA6HP19Z

What year model is your car again? Just want to confirm it's not a 'TU' version of the 6HP19 box like mine.

Might just check with ZF? They actually sell you the oil for their boxes.

Mine is a 2005 model and ZF calls their oil Lifeguard 6

So reading on the other forums and think the number is ZF5HP24

Nope, yours is a 6HP19 for that model year. I'd just go with the ZF oil and be done with it.

That would make it a 5 speed.

Liquimoly TopTec ATF 1800 for the 6 speed auto.
