Hi fanatics. Quick question. Just pulled out my box. E36 325i getrag 5 speed. There's about 3 millimeters of play on the input shaft from side to side. Is this normal or do I have some major problems? Also it seem as if there's water entering the box from somewhere as the pilot bearing and housing has a sort of red rust powder. The pressure plate and flywheel also have slights signs of water marks.
. The inside of the box is dry though and there's very little clutch dust.
