Either date would be fine. But we need to find out which date would suit the charity.

I will phone them tomorow and get the ball rolling on that side.

What is the plan just have a run to there (get Kobus into a Father Xmas suit), and then hand out some presents. We could either have a picnic or braai depending on what they can accommodate us with?

Does that sound right to you guys ?

What do you guys think, we can use this to promote the event outside the forum. Will complete it once we have all the details.

Once you guys have finalized more details we can send out a Mass PM accross the forum and let everyone know about the thread. :thumb:

If all goes well then us guys in slaap stad will also be having our event on the 15th Dec as that has the most votes so far.

I have spoken the the social worker involved(Patience Kutama) with Siphumelele, provisionally we are booked 15 Dec 2013. She will forward my message to Nadia van Wyk, then we will be able to sort out all the finer details from there.

Currently there are 10 kids at the home and there might more come December (maybe 12/13).

There is also a park across from the home itself, which I am told can be used for parking, if possible can some from that area go check it out for us(I am in the far west sorry). This is the address: 21 Olyf Avenue, Edleen, Kempton Park, South Africa, Africa, Earth .

Will keep you guys update.

Toys, food, clothes ?

I will chat to Nadia and then check maybe a mix, but I rate presents(toys) should be top of our list, it is the Christmas Run.

Boys just some advice, first decide what charity you gonna support, what type of charrity run it will be, and then people to attend. No use getting people to attend a we might or what about them.

julle mans is almal Gat oor kop. LOL

What are you boys gonna do with the kids for the rest of the day? are you gonna do a braai for members and kids only kids???? What kids are they, dissabled, sick, homeless???? How you gonna work the presents, each buy something, get a bank account so one person buys all the gifts, do you have ages and proper numbers????

Seriously a charity run for something like this is more than just writing words on the forum. There is plenty involved.

If you boys need my help, let me know.

PS do you have a venue?
