I know you asked Colin, but I'll help with directions too. It's quite simple.
From JHB, stick to the N1 northbound right up until you get to John Vorster Drive, which will be an off-ramp to your left. Turn left off the highway, and the very next traffic light is Akkerboom Street, with the centre on your left. So turn left at that robot, and left again into the centre.
If you'd prefer to use the R21 northbound, get onto the N1 southbound right after Irene Village Mall. Stick to the N1 south (or west actually) until you get to John Vorster Drive, which you basically drive under before exiting the highway to your left, as the off-ramp is a horseshoe shape. At the traffic light, turn left and go over the highway until you get to your second set of traffic lights, with the centre on your left. Turn left, and left again into the centre.
