Can I give some suggestions for future meets?

I was thinking maybe at Roadhouse, only problem it needs to have a big enough parking to attend to their normal clientele and for us to park, then you can have milkshakes etc. I have a place in mind where they have extra space but its on grass and there is no lighting in that area.

Then I was thinking George Smooth has a Hotel with lots of space maybe we could do a braai or bring and braai type of set up in some corner of his property. Maybe make a small fee to include a chop and wors. And the Hotel could sell drinks or we bring our own drinks.

Excellent idea's Bernard... But the point of these "Cars and Coffee" meet exactly Saturdays event.

WRT the Braai/picnic idea, that's been discussed, we already had one with a lack of attendance and then winter started. herrbmw and myself will plan a Picnic soon. We have an excellent idea and between the 2 of us, we want to have one cracker of an event. Stay tuned for that... It will be a day out with the Fanatics. Prizes and some trivia along the way too.

Thanks for the options... We will look at them if Colin's location fails. At this point, Colin has scouted the place during the time we require, etc so a lot of effort has gone in already.

I skipped the 28th as it is Month end weekend. I am sure we all will be busy and the centre will be busy too.

I skipped the 28th as it is Month end weekend. I am sure we all will be busy and the centre will be busy too.

just check with petrivanzyl on the forum as he is planning a parys/haarties run for that weekend,not to sure on the date

the centre wont be that bussy month end as its not a shopping mall like cedar and stone ridge,gym,couple restaurants,cycle lab,bmw motor bikes,rochester,outdoor warehouse,etc
so should all be closed by 4pm except the resturants

Hi Guys,

So, from the initial idea of Cars and Coffee

Unlike the Midnight/Ice Cream meetups, this meet and greet should be held during the day, usually on a cold day to enjoy the Coffee and Cars, hence the dub "Cars and Coffee".

I guess now that we entering summer, we can call it Cars and Coffee, but of-course you not limited to drinking coffee. Get a milk shake, slush, etc...

So, here goes... Version 1.3!!

Date: 5 October 2013
Day: Saturday
Time: 16:00 - 18:00 (I suppose we can make it 15:00 to 18:00)
Venue: Centurion Gate Shopping centre, Cnr of Akkerboom road and John Voster Drive, centurion.

My suggestion is get coffee from the coffee shops above and chill around the cars and talk crap, etc...

Anyone keen on a mini run to the venue? We can meet at N1 Maxi (towards PTA) at 3pm, leave at 3:15pm, take a slow drive to Centurion Gate Shopping Centre.
