I gave the touring a good wash yesterday thinking I might enter the show-n-shine if Fordkoppie doesn't arrive, all was well until a certain white 530MLE and black 1M pulled up...I was like....fuck, 4 hours of washing wasted!

Was just about heading to bed and got a message that Rowen has won Best Modified catagory. Well done Rowen, all the hard work and effort is paying off. Second year in a row, you win (Rowin)!!!!

SA Beemer, Mohammed, thank you for inviting us and making the event happen. If i may speak for all attended, we had a great time with like minded people doing what we love best, BMW's. It was really an epic day, the venue was amazing, the crowd was good and the cars, well the cars are just stunning. So many beautiful BMW's where flowing today. Thank you SA Beemer, we will definitely be joining more events and would love to have you guys at our events.
CrazyDetailer, Pravin and Neil, thee most hospitable gents in our community. Thank you for having us over this morning, we made you open shop earlier, yet you did so with a smile. Coffee and Muffins served and we had a chance to meet the store and familiarize ourselves with your establishment. Some of our bank cards/Cash met your till point. Thanks for the welcome gift of a bottle of detail spray, i saw many including myself use them at the event to dust off the cars. I wish you guys a long and prosperous future!
Fanatics, all of you that attended today... You guys made today as awesome as it is. Thank you. Its this that make me want to be apart of planning and executing events. You guys make the events, you fanatics make events worthwhile. Thank you...
There are a few fanatics that stood out today:
Jody - Thank you for joining us this morning, convoying to Lens and then heading to work.
Mo@Crazyrides - Came from Lens to meet us at CD just to take awesome convoy pics. Thank You.
Firoze_D - This guy, really is a gem. I wish i had a brother like you. Firoze transported Mo from Lens to CD and drove back allowing Mo the opportunity to take pics. Then sped off to take Mo to fetch his car and come to the event. That wasn't all, when Firoze saw me with the Show and Shine entry, he pulled out his bag with MF cloths and details spray, tyre gel etc and started cleaning my car. My car is still shining, its all the good heart shining on my car now. Thank you Firoze, you have a heart of gold. May Allah (God), keep you this way and provide you with your hearts desires.
Big thanks to Andz for lending me his Go Pro, got some awesome footage of the fanatics entering the event. Will edit and post soonest!

What a Day!!!!!
The excitement was building up from last night for many of us, D day, Beemer fest was finally upon us :=): Since the last one was cancelled, I guess I was even more pumped to get going today, so much so, I had a crap sleep because I didn't want to be late :biglol:
Quite late last night, Moe crazy rides and myself decided, NO WAY WE MISSING CONVOY...so we drove from Lenasia to Crazy detailer, and then back to Lenasia, just so that we could make the convoy, apart of the other wonderful memories in our hearts and heads. The Crazy Detailer really went out of their way to make it a good start to the day for us fanatics. Detail Spray, Coffee and Cakes was much more then we expected. Thanks guys, much appreciated from every single one of us :bravo:
After a quick briefing from Arbee we set on our way. Being the last guys to leave Crazy Detailer, and having a much better than expected turnout, I was honestly gob-smacked when I FINALLY caught up to the convoy. The sheer beauty of every single car that was a part of this convoy was something to behold. Moe and Myself got to see and hear things no one did, that was BEAUTY in MOTION. As we made our way from car to car on the highway, the sights and sounds of each individual car really made me love the brand SO MUCH MORE. You could see the attention to detail on each car and the love and care that each owner puts into their babies. As we passed each car, glistening in all its glory, one clear thought into mind...." This is why we call ourselves FANATICS"
The conduct that each member showed was fantastic, and it what in my mind distinguishes us from the rest. We were asked to keep it clean, to keep to the speed limit, to convoy with safe following distances, and when I got to the venue, I was again reminded how this forums member are slowly making the transition from forum members to Fully fledged CLUB. From what I gathered, we were a fairly large group apart of the Beemer fest, if not the largest :bravo: And our entrance bared testament to that, as row upon row of parking just got FANATICS cars parked neatly into in.
During the Christmas charity run, I was exposed to the HUGE hearts of the guys of this forum. At the Fourways CnC, I was exposed to the some of the fantastic cars and member of the forum. Today I was introduced to that keeps this forum hearts beating.....The PASSION for the BRAND of BMW.
I Sincerely hope and pray, that Allah (GOD) grants every single member of this forum, the means to always drive a car from the stable of BMW, and for those who don't have one as yet, To grant them the means to become a part of the family.
Thanks to one and all for making this day one to remember, may the fanatics family grow from strength to strength, Amen.
