G30 5 series

Hi everyone
Was just wondering if any fanatics have taken delivery of the new 5 series and what they think of the car.
Thinking of getting into a 520d but don't see much on the road. Are they not selling well or is still too "new"?

My mate bought a 520d Msport, epic EPIC car, much more capable than the older generation 20d and the tech in that car is absolutely insane, you can live in that car

These 520d's are becoming the ultimate daily cruiser, for comfort, power and fuel efficiency.

Because the 3, 5 and 7 all look the same now, so you probably do see them, but dont realise its a 5er.

3 doesnt look anywhere near like a 5 or 7, you gotta be legally blind to confuse a 3 for the latter

I test drove one and bought one.
Like the above post it is epic indeed and night and day to the f10.
I chose one with all the driver assistance packages so looking forward to some autonomous driving especially in traffic

No offence bud but I don't think the five looks like the three at all. I also know my cars very very well and can see the new five from far ahead on the road. A lot closer to the seven but certainly not the same.

No offence taken. Of course I am exaggerating, but compare the differences between the F30 and G30, to lets say the differences between E60 and E90.

The head/tail light specifically. E60/E90, completely different designs, and yet both cars look like BMWs. F30/G30, looks like someone just did some photohop, tweaked some angles, pinched/stretched here and there.

No offence taken. Of course I am exaggerating, but compare the differences between the F30 and G30, to lets say the differences between E60 and E90.

The head/tail light specifically. E60/E90, completely different designs, and yet both cars look like BMWs. F30/G30, looks like someone just did some photohop, tweaked some angles, pinched/stretched here and there.

Firstly: congrats on the new car!

Secondly: Yeah, E60 is not the prettiest.

Thirdly: I am not saying the G30 is a bad car, I just wish they had spend a little more time making it stand out, design wise.
