discussion G01 Sophisto grey rear diffuser

Guys I don't know if I'm being crazy.
My G01 rear diffuser seems to be a shade lighter in colour than the bumper. It's only noticeable in certain lights.
Is this by design? I know it's sometimes deliberate but how come I haven't noticed it until now?
The car is Sophisto grey metallic (read: dark metallic grey)

Thats correct - all diffusers are the same colour (Some shade of grey) regardless of the car colour

That's why I had mine sprayed gloss black to match the other GB cosmetic accessories until I find a perfect fit aftermarket diffuser. That grey just looks out of place even on the white.

Yeah agree here, on the G01 the diffuser is that weird grey and needs some beefing up since the MSport comes with a lot of gloss black on it. There are aftermarket diffusers but not all available ones are to one's taste.
