My younger boet, based in Durban, is looking for a replacement car for his MX5 (third Gen NC). His wife recently had a baby and he is looking for something with 4 doors, however it should still be relatively fun to drive. It doesn't have to specifically be a performance car and it should be a sensible choice (in terms of reliability and running costs). It wont be the primary family car, as they already have an SUV. It will be used mostly as a daily to work which is around 10km from home, so stellar fuel consumption isn't high on the list or priorities. He is not in a great hurry to buy, so will take the time to find a car that is the right fit. He is based in Durban so ideally looking for suggestions nearby to check out, but I can also have a look at cars around JHB on his behalf.
Budget is around R150k give or take some
