Howzit guys,

Stupid question but does the 1994 E36 M3 3.0L German spec use unleaded or LRP fuel?

Doesn't really matter. Both will perform equally poorly, and the valve seats are definitely compatible with unleaded. Bring back the lead!

You should be fine on unleaded. My E30 runs on unleaded. LRP is very good where quality is concerned.

Oh my...I bought a car that takes LRP....Now I feel like a dumb ass. If I use Unleaded 95, will it destroy the valve stem seals?

No you wont. These cars were designed to run on 98. Using 95 is not ideal but the best we can do.

I've heard that pretty much all BMW's after 1988 should handle unleaded with no issues. Someone who knows more can maybe confirm.
