On Friday my BMW 118i 2013 F20 died in the middle of an intersection. BMW on call tow (flatbed) it to a dealer. Just got told it's the fuel pump R8500 to replace car is just out of service plan by 2000km. Dealership offer assistance and reduced it to R5300.
Is this a reasonable cost and how can I check if my fuel pump wasn't one of the recalled pumps?
