2 months back car stood outside and would not start, thought it was fuel, filled up with 10 liters of fuel still no start.
Lifted the back seat and checked for continuity whilst turning the ignition, electrical all fine, gave the fuel a thump and it started.
Sat stranded on 2 occasions and waited a while then only the car started.
I have now realized it must be the fuel bump, just cannot understand why it only starts about an hour later.
Anyone experience these symptoms.
I have called around and the VDO pump cost R3100.00, I would prefer either Bosch or VDO.
Any idea whom would supply these pumps?
