Price increase bouncing between 67 and 84c for petrol, and between 54 and 69c for diesel :thumbdo:

Looks like we're in for an expensive few months, as I'm sure this will cause everything else to jump up in price even more.

thats very wrong - Im sure you can fight that one, or was someone abusing it ? because now you are paying income tax on it while it is not income ??? Im certain SARS will have some advice.

We pay just over $1 per liter for diesel in Malawi, petrol slightly more. This is a result of the lack of forex in the country which has caused hyper-inflation.

After all the fuel queuing and contaminated fuel we've experienced over the past 2 years, just having stable reserves of fuel is an achievement.

I can understand other countries having higher fuel prices, like the UK. But then they have cheap, reliable and safe public transport as an alternative. In places like that you don't really need to drive yourself around, and sometimes you won't want to either cos of the congestion and lack of parking.

And isn't most of our fuel produced locally? The government is always going on about rising international oil prices being the cause of fuel price increases.

They included it in the Cost to company as an average, Its basically a salary restructure as we were bought by another company and have to follow their salary structures so nothing we can do about it. We were told that they not obligated to provide a petrol card so YAY for us. :argh:

Filling up was never a concern for me till now
