9 years ago I owned a E46 320d, 2000 model. Best ever open road was 19kms/L, and in town was 11kms/L

2006 E60 530d auto highway 15 - 16km/l. Do not do much town driving but sits at about 14,5 km/l at the moment (standard but with cats and flaps removed). E90 2008 pre facelift 330d auto is slightly heavier - sits at about 13,5 mixed (not much town driving) and about 14km/l on the road going up to about 15km/l at times (only mapped) - but it is a monster when angry!

6.0-7.0l/100km - Town

I almost always do 6.1l/100km per full tank

I get 26.7l per 100km with X5M in town and 12.2l per 100km on the highway. Eish!

Have a E90 330i. 10.4l per 100km open road at 135kmph n between 14-15l per 100km local runs. Need to kill the cats. The biggest problem is driving normal

Lol. If u can affiord a x5...i dont see problem with fuel consumption

I drive so little with my car...even if my car gave me 50l per 100km..it wont be so bad due i only drive 5km a month..lol
