Front suspension, reconditioning who has?

Busy with the front suspension on the e34 M5, and been trying to source parts. As Rick540 can tell you, parts are horrifically expensive.

On the front suspension and steering has anybody got experience with reconditioning of the parts?

I bought a new steering rack directly from ZF for a quarter of the dealer price. Not sure if that would apply for you.

Yep that sounds about right. Paid just over R3000 for a new rack.

ZF is based in the Kempton Park / Isando area off the R24 going to OR Tambo.

Bought mine directly from ZF too, for just over 3 grand. Stealers had wanted 9k...:yuck:
They were good folk too, very helpful and even gave me a tour of their gearbox rebuild section. :thumbs:
