Hi guys,

So I'm from Parys in the Freestates and I recently bought myself my boyhood hero an e39 M5.

She's in good knick and was well maintained. She's not even got any fault codes.

Be that as it may, obviusly there can always be something lurking. For one the oil level sensor needs to be changed and she needs an oil change. Also for piece of mind I want to get an oil analysis done. Timing chain guides are my main concern, I know bearings weren't a massive issue with these cars, still can't hurt to check.

I'm sorting out my garage (full of other peoples' shit) and until then wont be able to work on the car myself.

Who can you recommend that's close to Parys and can provide me with a courtesy car that will take good care of my M5?

The e39 m5 does not have issues with bearings.

Timing guides etc are an issue .
Also when stripping the motor to replace guides if the vanos spline shafts are swapped from their original locations the engine will be noisy
