A looong fight😡
When the owner eventually decided to speak to me, I was told that in my purchase agreement it states that they do not guarantee shocks, and secondly it was "my duty" to have the car checked out before I bought it. He then offered R7000 "not because he has to" but as a "gesture of goodwill". That was after running after this guy for literally 4 weeks. I took the R7k while I could get it. It cost me an additional R8500 and had a BMW shock fitted at the dealership here in P.E. At least all is good now and the car is totally enjoyable.
Still R8.5k down the drain unnecessary.
