free flow options?

Now the car in question is no power house, not looking for performance, as I kinda like it the way it is, but I hate the ugly tail piece and while changing it, might as well add a little bit of tone.

I am referring to my 2008 Hyundai Accent 1.6 3dr

I don't want a tin sound, or a deafening drone. just a nice deep tone. What would you suggest?

i have no experience in Hyundais, but would it not be similar to other 4cyl cars.

My toyotas had a 53 or 57mm exhaust with at least 2 boxes, as big as could fit.

Was thinking if I maybe just do from the back box, replace that back box with a say powerflow box, and single tail piece. I would not go bigger than 50mm on a stock n/a 1600cc

So went to Noise boys. They agree with me, change the back box, add a a tailpiece and it will have the sound I want. going to fit it next weekend.

50mm is more than enough
the rear box is the one that does all the "silencing" so changing for a free flow box will make all the difference
Tail-pieces only influence the sound minimally, but do a lot for the asthetics
