I Remeber seeing a thread with someone putting together a list of 'alive' and deceased e34 M5's. Can't seem to find it

But I stumbled across this silver one at ABS BMW Spares in Athlone.

Doesn't have any m5 specific parts left it seems, just the dash and clocks. just Proof of one less of them around

Seriously though... if I had the cash and the time, I'd buy this and build it up to it's out of the factory legend.

Interesting.

Does have the MTech sideskirt with those ever illusive lower door trimmings.

But it does have manual rotary knobs for the ventilation system.

M5 had climate control.

Not unless you are a gazillionaire. Ask Rick, even the roadworthy ones needed two arms and a testicle to get up to scratch...

It is sad to see an M in this state though...

Okay, I need those side-skirts.

*smashes piggy-bank*

Break the bank if you have to, cause those are scarce as hens teeth and crazy expensive from the dealers.

Also seems to still have the aluminium lower control arms.

*Hears Budleigh breaking the piggy bank again*

Yeah I've read through some of his posts...
Still though, it just needs a little (a lot) of attention. No BMW should be looking like this.

Can you get the VIN off the chassis so we can check if it was a real M5?

Will be in the area next week, will stop by. I'm pretty sure it is genuine. The scrapper said he sold the full interior, and he has the m systems on his 635, it has the m5 door sill trimmings, the speedo, and as you can see still has the proper side skirts. Doubt it's not genuine

Anyway, will update this thread with the VIN when I can

I got the thread of all E34s M5 for sale....think Rick or Adi started the thread with the list of alive & deceased M5s.

If he says the m systems were from this m5, then this car must have
been standing very long. His 635 had m systems(no covers on) when I saw it for thhe first time about 3 years ago.
