Hey Guys
Been on the forum for close to a year now so thought id do a formal introduction.
I fell in love with the pleasure of driving a few years ago after buying my first diesel, and boy was she a lot of fun (Polo 1.9TDI Sportline) I had the car tuned by Syndicate racing and absolutely loved the car, after owning the car for a few years I decided to let her go (A big mistake) and bought my first BMW, a 2010 125i coupe... I loved the shape as well as its handling but felt the car was very under powered and regretted going for a petrol as I really missed the torque from my previous diesel. Had the car tuned to the 130i spec which was an epic fail, In hind sight I should have just looked a little harder for a suitable 120d coupe as well as a better tuner...
After owning the 125i for a few years (4) I started looking for a suitable diesel and came across a 2013 x3 30d x Drive I just had to have, have always loved the 330d but after owning the coupe on our SA roads I really wanted something with a bit more ground clearance and bigger wheels so the x3 was an obvious decision, she has ample power and is a great all round family car without all the extra weigh which comes with say an x5...

Have really enjoyed reading all the build threads on some of the other diesels in the group, some serious power out there well done gents!

Potential future mods:
- Black duel replacement front grill (already ordered, expecting delivery as soon as LD ends)
- 4x New tires are on the cards for next month, cant believe the cost of these are even worse than those i put on the 125!
- SS down pipe
- SS Quad exhaust
- Stage 2 remap (chatting to various tuners at this stage, but think I know who I'll be going with...wont mention any names at this stage)
- XHP gearbox flash
- pondering the idea of putting on some smaller wheel spacers to improve the stance a bit but still undecided...
