Theres always a percentage of drivers in any community or club that gives everyone else a bad name.

Probably afraid the M's would show up a few of the exotics on the track...:bin::roflol::roflol:

There was a whole lot M cars having a Track day on 27 Nov at Zwartkops, maybe they split it not to have too many vehicles.

Remember Daytona and Sandton Auto is owned by the same guy.

Correct, Sandton Auto and Melrose Arch Auto are part of Daytona

To me ,Most ( Not all ) BMW M , AMG , AUDI S etc etc , those may have supercar performance but they are not super cars . Just run of the mill cars made by a large manufacturer , M cars , AMgs etc are available by the dozen , They are lovely cars but not unique , the same goes for those 4x4 and 4 door sedan Porsche .

I never see these cars as Supercars . maybe sports cars but not supercars.

Spanner incoming...

So an M4 GTS, which laps the 'Ring faster than a Lambroghini Muircelago is not allowed?

I'm sure it is. This is probably just to keep riffraff out.

LOL There were definitely M cars at their last day at Kyalami so something might have happened in between or they just want a rarefied crowd at this particular event. Nothing wrong with that IMHO. I find it odd they mention M cars but not AMG or RS.

If I had a supercar I would want to have as few cars on track and no car on car action (sliding off track etc is another story), you also don't want someone trying at 9/10ths to catch a supercar and causing an incident. Folks lose their minds on a track thinking they are going to be Max Vestappen or that passing a lambo or ferrari means something other than the guy didn't want to push his massively expensive investment too hard or it is his first time out etc. Idea should be to learn more about your car and push yourself. Not bully other cars around the track.

At least Daytona is providing such events regularly for their clients. Not many other companies do this!

Lol! I saw we all rock up there and do donuts all at the same time!!! There must be so much smoke they have to close the track! If no M cars are on the track, no cars can be on the track!!!!!!
