Heard they snapped a diff while making that advert...

Really, they must have really been honing it. I'm sure they probably installed the optional LSD's on these models too.

Apparently none were fitted with LSDs and they couldn't get them to drift so welded closed the diffs to the get them sideways. Anyone else heard this?

Hmm interesting.

why wouldn't they just fit the LSD's.. Although I guess they were going to change the diffs afterwards anyways so welding the diffs was a more cost effective option.

it sounds too far-fetched to be welding closed a diff.
