I would suggest you either take a longer route to work or consider buying something else for the commute. By not allowing your car's oil to get up to temperature, you are inherently putting excessive wear on the components. My work commute was 2.5km and I actually used to do a 10km warm up run in the morning and another 7km in the afternoon to get home, some might say overkill but it doesn't cost much more besides time for peace of mind.
It is good that you do a long drive once a week to clean out the DPF, I used to do the same and then just fitted a Down Pipe to negate the need to do this.. Something to look at when you come off plan along with software.
