Best bet on an older car like that is to get a personal loan from the bank. Interest rates are normally quite high on those though.

Nedbank also have a product that caters for older cars, but I think the interest is higher than a personal loan.

FNB finance anything that moves, if they ask how you heard of them, mention my name please, maybe they'll make me CEO of marketing...

Personal loan. It doesnt pay (pardon the pun) to take out an HP or a shortterm vehicle deal!

Hmmm 535i, I love them cars!!

How much if I might ask? I'm a Mommy, not sure about the Suga!!

Get a Virgin credit card! They are the lowest interest at around 16% and you get 90 days free credit! Personal loans are available everywhere, but watch out that interest rate! Even with the repo rate at 7% some of these places are charging 24%, 30% and 35% P.A. Check out the AA and also MFC :dunno: Just be prepared to jump through hoops!!!!:mmm:

If you are buying from a private buyer, give Wesbank a shout, they finance person to person - should have more info on their website though.

Good Luck!

Well there is a nice buy in Cirtusdal, R35000, 250 000kkms on the clock, is there any problems with them over 200 000kms?

Unless abused, you should be good until 350k. But you will have 'normal' stuff like a starter or a pump here and there.

I'm surprised the mileage is that "low". I concur with Hellas, unless it was moerd, its a good deal. Then you service the necessities and you have a pretty nice vehicle.

Quite honestly, considering where it is comming from, I am almost convinced the oke that drove the vehicle only drove according to the speed limit.

Daai okes in Citrusdal is nie speedfreaks nie (or am I smoking my socks)
All you know its a tannie that owns it!!! To top it off, the body is prolly in a stunning condition!!

Our last 535i we bought up country, she was MINT!!

I saw that one, but the problem is not really the mileage, but the fact that the car has not been looked after. Wheelcaps missing and the interior is not clean. (Not even for a for sale pic...) This is not the way to treat a elegant ship like this...

Yeah, but that means you can get it cheap, I mean 40K isn't much...
And too keep on to your hubcaps in parow is a big prob:):):)
If I had the cash, I would make that my project, would feel awesome to do a burnout in one of those, well after a few major suspension tweaks and power mods...:thumbsup::thumbsup:
