* Its not a "test". It happens whenever i start the car. The same with the dtc light you see in the video; gets disabled 50% on start up.

* Josh its 5/7 on the steering wheel to engage.

All E90s can do this 'test' or something similar although all the warning lights are usually on.

:roflol: Almost caught me, then I did a small calculation. 280 mph is around 440 kmh, one for the record books, and when did BMW start marking speed in mph anyway, unless it's an american import. Only then did I spot the errors! GOOD ONE! :biglol:

HUH? You smoking some good stuff?

sent from a phone

 There's another reason to live in the Transkei? Actually, I was taught that to convert miles to kilometers one multiplies by 8 then divides by 5. To reverse the conversion, reverse the numbers. Therefore 280 x 8 = 2240, divide an 5 = 448. Who's smoking what? :ty:

I originally misread the title, saw 280 m/ph, and thought "wait a bit". American spec cars are still marked in miles, so could be, but then I did my little calculation, and "that's not right! " then I looked better at the pics. :blab:

I tested my car's speedo yesterday - hit 200 km/h, but this was not done in the same manner as above... :fencelook:

The E36's had the dial feature in if you pressed the trip reset button while turning on the ignition.....
