Thanks to the sound advise received a couple of weeks ago on blocked CAT converter I followed the advise received and had the converter removed.
The local exhaust center did the job for me, the only sensor that was fitted was fitted back into the new down pipe that was made up.
Low end performance and improved open road fuel consumption is immediately noticeable.
I did a trip to Bloemfontein and back to Kimberley yesterday. At a average 120 kph I recorded an average of 6.1 liters per 100 Kms.
Ok, I was driving like Grand Dad, the wallet was hard hit for 2 replacement original M Sport mags and tyres last week after avoiding a dog an dinging the pavement.
Christo and the guys at Fast Fit "ROCK" for doing an outstanding job on the CAT converter for me. Your Dads motto " there's only 2 cars in life, a BMW AND ANOTHER BMW" I agree with 100%.
