Hey are quite good, yes. Not OEM, but one of the top replacements.

Reason I ask it is one of the brands goldwagen does. Seems they have good products these day's if one go by the brands they handle:
Febi Bilstein
Meyle
ATE
Elring
SACHS
HELLA
Valeo

I use bilstein brake pads, good quality and not badly priced.

Febi is generally very good stuff for the price, have used it many times without problems.

Sometimes you are lucky and get rebadged OEM components in the Febi box.

Hey guys, has anyone here tried these FEBI pads, and if so, what are your respective experiences and reviews on them?

I fitted Febi pads and disks last month on my e39.

So far I am happy. The generate a bit more dust than the previous pads (which created no dust at all )

I prefer to see the pads working though.

So yeah. So far so good

Depends on the part you are looking for.

I have to say for the most part I am not impressed with febi parts, but I guess you get what you pay for.....

:thumbs: , but as with all parts there are certain lines that are better ,eg I prefer ATE brakes .

So... As brake pads go... FEBI vs ATE... Who wins? EBC is another league altogether, so lets not go there!

Touch wood, my Febi lower control arm bushes are still ok after 6 months. I stay in speedbump valley. Paid R750, but the latest price is R800.

The Midas disks that I bought causes brake shudder. Pads are AGAPE.
Not great, but it brakes.

Skim the discs on the car. Dont take them off for skimming. This allows the skimming profile to cater for run out on the hub.

I fitted febi bilstein last month becuase I could not find ATE (2006 320d E91) They brake nice and the dust does not seem to be so bad but they squeek alot.

So I have the option of the tried and tested ATE, or the unknown to me till yesterday FEBI... ATE is slightly cheaper... just not sure which one I should go for...

FEBI acquired... Will let you guys know my take once I try it out.

ATE was outta stock, so yeah... Lets hope these brakes hold all the way down to Durbs next week
