I have recently experienced problems with my 116i, I realised that the start/stop button remain iluminated even after switching off the engine and locking the car. This results in the battery going flat if I part the car for more than 4hrs. Also the electric windows and mirrors are not working. Is this kin of a common problem OR this something seriously wrong with the car? Please help.

Dude, if that car is still under maintenance plan take it back asap

The start button was just supposed to remain on for a short while

Sounds like a busted control module. Have you had the car diagnosed to read the codes?

I once experienced problems with fog & Head lights switching themselves on and off. BMW told me there's something wrong with the module. However after a while the car fine. I have a secondhand module and struggling to get someone to fit it for me in Nelspruit. The car is out off motorplan
