Hey Mike! Thanks again to you and the guys @ Dent Magic Express for doing such a sterling job on my ride, to get the old girl looking like new again. And to you for your time and effort in ensuring I was 100% happy! Oh and of course for the great company and very yummy coffee shake!

You dont need to do much Greg, your car is the most beautiful E39 ever and drives like a bomb.

No idea on the coffee shake, it was excellent! Thats all I know!

any advice on a 530d sport, is it wise to buy a secondhand diesel, 175km fsh at bmw, any maintenance issues, I'm sh#t scared of diesel stories. is it wise to chip and wot power gains can one expect?

I'm not too clued up on these diesels, but have always read only good reviews. In the UK, the 530d would be considered the pick of the crop in the E39 range. They love diesel there. If you can find one who had a fastidious owner, awesome, cuz you do need to teat a diesel just that bit differently.

Was at SMG a bit earlier this morning - there were two X5's there, a 4.8i V8 and a 3.0d. Both are fantastic vehicles but if it was up to me from the sensible point of view, consumption etc, the 3.0d would be the way to go, but my goodness did that V8 sound good!!!
