fan on whenever i turn key on - help

Hi guys, I need some help. Whenever i turn on the key on my e46 the fan goes on, and even if I turn it off, the next time I turn on the key it will come on again and this is a bit annoying. How can I turn it off permanently.

I know what you mean, I had the same problem with my E46.
I believe the key is programmed like that.
It's meant for different drivers to have different settings coded to their key.
The dealer should be able to reprogram it for you but I doubt it'll be free.

When i turn the speed to 0 it goes off, but when I turn the key off and then on it starts.

Not when it´s cold and you are starting the car... even when you set the temperature to 32 you don´t get hot air...

Have you tried pressing "-" and holding the switch for a few seconds?

It does sound like it could be the key though, try the spare and see what hapens.
