Fan Delete Mod

Can anyone advise me, is it advisable to do a fan delete mod on a 98 e 36 323i in South Africa with our climate. I must also say that I tow my track bike on a trailer to racetracks. The trailer with my bike and fuel is not heavy roughly 500 kg max. Any advice would help.

Provided you do it properly, you will be fine..

Definitely do it. But rather get an electric fan put in for the summer months.

What are you gaining ? The cost with imported parts and running an electric fan is not cheap .Does your car have the small inlet manifold ( like 328i ) ?,changing to a e36 325i inlet manifold will give you more power than the fan delete mod .No stressing about overheating .

Well the car does sound a lot better without the viscous fan, with the viscous fan the car usually sounds like a Toyota bakkie
