I'm very interested in feedback on those sexy intakes...

To be honest, not much feedback to give ... To begin with, the quality seems decent - the aesthetic is on point ( evidenced in the pictures ) - Fitment also very good, all mounting points and sizes of the boxes, holes for the air guides etc. - excellent

Increase in power - Difficult to judge accurately ( before and after runs done @different times & temps ), but saw a 3wkw increase on the Dyno - Is this a gain you can feel - I dont know.
Realistically though, top mounted intakes are not going to make serious power without any other supporting mods.

Butt dyno and general feel - My daily driving routine doesnt include many spirited moments - And I have yet to drive the car in a way to exploit the intakes properly :)
What I have heard in some brief excursions thus far, if using more than 50 % throttle, you get some audible induction noise between 3 and 5 k rpm, after that the exhaust scream is more prominent, but this is upshifting at 6k and not chasing redline.
This is inside the cabin, with the windows up ... with the windows down, its similar just more pronounced

I have had a bit of an itch for gold wheels ... So I decided to 'pimp' the 87's

Did the main face in gold and a high polish between the spokes

I wasn't a fan in the first place but this doesn't work, you'd need to get some gold accents elsewhere on the car to match it, right now it doesn't look in place at all.

But I suspect the more gold you add you'll end up with a very "unique" look. Again, On these M4s it's just really hard to beat the 666M (IMHO).

So the Style 87's to me are a winner ... During the time that I had these 'golded' :) and was running the 666M, it solidified it for me.

Execution on the 'golding' and the high polish - Yeah that does not work ... The gold came out way darker than I intended, and the high polish with the gold is too much contrast.
Going to try the execution again, and do the whole rim in a light gold

Part of your issue is the car colour itself, gold+white is always going to just be very, very flashy. also the style87s are a lot of "metal" if that makes sense? so you're gonna end up with huge chunks of gold. I'd rather do like a gold lip or something if you're really into the gold.

Spray the rim a light copper colour if you want to stick with this route, this is tooooo gold.... on a white car, the colour needs to compliment the car, and the only colour that will is a very light gold/copper/bronze

Mods, can we pleeeeease have a :poop: reaction added?

Jokes aside, this looks very rice.

Also, perhaps experiment with some plastidip to dial the look in before you spend more cash doing a 'final' job for each attempt. Just a thought.
